Jeff is a former insurance defense attorney with 15 years injury trial experience. While working for Progressive Insurance Company’s in-house law firm Shur McDuffie & Morgan, he tried many cases while also managing and training seven other attorneys and 10 legal assistants. He is well experienced with severe injuries and complex damages including traumatic brain injury and surgical cases. Moreover, Jeff learns everyday more medical terminology and procedures invaluable to injury trial work from his wife Melissa who is an emergency room trauma nurse at Children’s Hospital. They have two daughters ages eight and eleven and live in Alpharetta.
Jeff graduated from the Detroit College of Law at Michigan State University. In addition to being the president of his class, and graduating summa cum laude, he won the highly coveted intra-school moot court competition and competed and coached in multiple national competitions throughout the country. He worked as an intern for one of the most successful medical malpractice plaintiff’s firms in the country, Attorney Geoffrey Feiger, who appears regularly on CNN and Fox as a legal analyst. Upon moving to Atlanta, he joined the general civil litigation firm Weinstock & Scavo located in Buckhead for 6 years and worked on personal injury and business litigation cases.
After experiencing both sides of the courtroom, learning the intricacies of the defense strategies and studying the art & science of effective plaintiff advocacy, Jeff chose Hartman–Imbriale LLP to fight for those deserving victims who have been injured by the negligence of others.
